A tantra massage, for me, is a meeting of two people, heart to heart. I bring presence, attention and a lot of slowness. You bring nothing but yourself.

You and your body can move with whatever shows up: your softness and your strength, your vulnerability and your intensity, your feelings, your sensuality, your desire and your sexual energy.

My understanding of this grew out of my own experience. My partner at the time was a tantra masseuse. In our years together, and in my own process, I felt what a tantra massage can move in a person. So I am not speaking about a method I once learned, but about something I went through myself.

The whole body

Including the intimate area,

The whole body can be included and that includes the intimate area. For women this can mean a yoni massage, for men a lingam massage: slow, attentive touch that we agree on beforehand. It is never a fixed part of the session, only a possibility.

Yoni is Sanskrit for the female genitals, and it means more than the anatomy: origin, source, womb. Lingam is Sanskrit for sign or mark and refers to the male genitals. Both words are used here because they carry respect where the everyday words carry something else.

What is not part of it is any sexual contact between us. No intercourse, nothing given back to me. That clarity is what makes it possible for you to let go.

How it runs

Nothing happens
that we have not spoken about

We start with a conversation about what you want, what you do not want and what I should know. You begin dressed in a lungi, a wrapped cloth. Being naked belongs to this work and is warmly invited. Usually the cloth comes off around halfway. It happens slowly and you can always say that you would like it differently.

Your yes never covers the whole session. You can change the touch, ask for a pause or stop at any moment, without explaining yourself.

Sometimes there is arousal, sometimes there are tears, sometimes there is simply rest. All of it is welcome.
